The white mask experiment

I rubbed my eyes tiredly..or tried to, at least.
Was the dream real? why do i have this mask on my face?...
Jesus christ! why is my mother screaming?
Dad?...
"Where is my son? where's my boy..?"
"OHHH! MY BABY IS GONE!" Jeez mom, calm down..i'm right here.
After hours of her wailing and my father screaming down the phone for the police to find me, the "death" guy came back to me.
"How are you enjoying not existing anymore? " he whispered. or she. I have no idea.
"what do you mean?...."  I called out, confused..what's going on?
"Well,you're invisible pretty much. only good souls can see you. "
Good souls? well, that seems fair. 
"awesome...better than being dead i guess" But to be honest, it was.
